From your slightly jealous British cousins at Generation Music — we’re raising a lukewarm cuppa, in the rain, to all the #generationmusicfamily across the pond today 🇬🇧➡️🇺🇸
Enjoy the BBQs, the fireworks, and the freedom to put anything on a hot dog. We’ll be over here pretending we don’t miss you… and secretly wishing we were invited. 😅🌭🍻
Lots of love from #generationmusicfolk — keep the tunes loud and the freedom louder! 🎶❤️
Well, it’s the first day back at the workshop and we’re feeling refreshed and ready to spread a little joy around the world by making the instruments we love once again. But here at Generation Music, when we’re not being musical instrument makers, we very much like to get stuck into a good book! And It’s looking like it’s going to be quite a folky 2025 here at @generationmusicfolk HQ!
Love to all the #generationmusicfamily wishing you a happy and healthy, and folky, 2025!
Loving the new reading material @ben_edge_art @russwilliams.welshauthor @wiscomythos
#generationmusicfamily presents @kunstmichi a friend of Generation Music from Baden-Württemberg, Southern Germany. 🇩🇪
Michael is playing a piece called “Midsomer Rhapsody” that appeared in an episode of the extremely popular TV show Midsomer Murders. After finishing watching the episode, the tune was stuck in his head, so he whipped out his #generationtinwhistle and played it by ear. Bravo, sir! A wonderful job and perfect mood-lighting for a piece from Midsomer Murders!
We love it and wanted to share it with you all.
Thank you @kunstmichi for being part of the #generationmusicfamily

It’s Christmas and that means Elves! So why not celebrate this most wonderful time of the year with the #elfsongenchantress by Generation.
The EnChantress combines the traditional fingering of the great highland bagpipes with Generation’s world-renowned flageolet mouthpiece.
Bagpipers can play, learn, teach, practice or perform music on a whistle developed just for them. No more transposing or re-learning fingering. No more keeping families awake during practice, and no more having to tune other instruments to Bb just so the pipers can join in. The EnChantress is tuned to D to match the most commonly played penny whistle key so pipers can join in around the campfire, at a session or on stage.
Practice traditional bagpipe ornamentation or take your playing to the next level by adding tin whistle embellishments including slides, stops, tonguing and rolls! The EnChantress allows you to explore new ways of playing by increasing your range to two octaves instead of one. There is no limit to how or where you can play the EnChantress, just your imagination.
Pick up yours today, and make this Christmas magical, by visiting our online store - link in the bio.
It’s more than just instruments. It’s family. Its love. It’s art. It’s generations of the same family experiencing the joy of music together. It’s the slow and never ending changing of the seasons. It’s a lifestyle. It’s a culture.
We are the Folk Kult.
